It is really fortunate that Rural India has woken up to the importance of getting educated.As I traversed through Rural Orissa,I realised that the villages where people read just to get a job, have greater school dropout rates for one reason or the other,whereas in the villages where people read to broaden their perspective about the world outside are progressing at a rapid pace.
